Accounting Assistant

Amazon is a US-based multinational electronic commerce company headquartered in Seattle, Washington.Amazon.com started as an online bookstore, but soon diversified into many other categories, with a vision to be earth's most customer-centric company & to build a place where people can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online.The successful candidate will report into a Finance Manager.This will include working with central accounting, finance operation and Global financial teams to ensure we have a controlled accounting process to do month end accounting and reporting activities in a manner fitting with our "Customer Obsession", "Deliver Results" and "Insist on Highest Standard" philosophy.The Accounting assistant responsibilities include preparation of basic manual journal entries, preparation of monthly reconciliations, processes documentation.The successful candidate will have a strong desire in performing at the highest level of controllership, innovating processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Heredia, H, CRIBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applicationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience
