While our products are virtually invisible, they play a vital role in ensuring the quality of modern life and we are committed to connecting what matters to solve some of the world's biggest adhesion challenges.**POSITION OVERVIEW**:The position is a key member for the Financial Shared Services RTR Accounting team and is responsible for performing and support general accounting tasks; preparation of intermediate / low complexity journal entries and inputs in the ERP, supporting documentation for all the GL process from the beginning of the month until final delivery of financial statements to corporate, banking transactions, accruals, and others.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Complete monthly BS reconciliations, including banking, prepayments and Intercompany.- Evaluate and review BS report is correct, verify, report, and explain any important differences according to GL policies and SOx requirements.- Execute USGAAP reports for each country or SJO Shared service organization demands.- Reconcile (Fiscal/ USGAAP) accounts.- Prepare/update/create KPI´s according to GL requirements, ensure no open items older than accounting policies specification and ensure correct follow-up to close open item if is needed.- Support LA Audit processes (Internal & External) information demands.- Support direct taxes compliance reviews.- Support of the resolution of issues / areas of concern within reconciliations & within accounting processes.- Actively support the implementation of best practices within the department.- Perform Process documentation for transitioned & existing work to ensure that our documentation of our processes and procedures is of a sufficient standard to support business continuity objectives.- Work in compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP methods according to SOx controls.- Work with managers to support & develop initiatives to manage the business.- Perform journal entries as required making sure the proper approval is acquired.- Research and resolve Accounts Receivable issues through partnership with internal partners, including Credit and Collections, General Ledger and Account Payable.**Interactions****Internal**:- Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Treasury, Payroll and HR Management, Operations, Sales, IT, Internal Audit, Corporate reporting, FP&A, Brazil staff.**External**:- External Auditors adhoc, consultants in taxes adhoc**REQUIRES QUALIFICATIONS**- 0-2 year of accounting-financial related experience- Technical degree or bachelor's degree in course in accounting or related area.- Microsoft Office tools proficiency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Ability to do a high volume of work both accurately and timely- Financial system experience. Totvs/SAP is consider a plus.- Beginning-Intermediate English level, Beginning-Intermediate Portuguese is considered a plus- Strong interpersonal, communication and relational skills with multiple levels of management.- Proactivity, willing to learn, dynamic, responsibility, teamwork- At H.B.
