- Provide finance and accounting technical knowledge and execution to GBS and the Financial Department in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, general accounting, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.**Your Responsibilities include**:
- Provide accounting support to the area in the maintenance of balance sheet accounts and prepare annual and monthly reports. Implement, maintain and improve the system of internal controls in the financial area, as well as adequate compliance with international SOX.
- Execute general ledger accounting records, journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- General ledger maintenance activities.
- Review and approved monthly reconciliations and journal entries.
- Creation and maintenance of DTPs/SOPs.
- Oversee and support the team's processes execution on accounting activities
- Involvement and/or execution of several projects simultaneously.
- Any other accounting and/or department related activity.
**What we are looking for**:
- Business Administration or Accounting Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 5-7 years' relevant experience.
- English level: 70 - 80%
- Strong general accounting understanding and knowledge
- Inventory/cost accounting and reporting experience is a plus.
- Open to working across global time zones, if necessary.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to act as team lead of accountants.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation.
- Experience working in shared service environment preferred.
- Holds self-accountable to a performance metric culture building performance excellence.
- Strong integrity.
- Respect for others.
- Inquisitive and takes an active interest in opportunities to improve the efficiency of work.
- Team member.
- Knowledge in SAP and CADENCY (preferred), or any other accounting system.
