We are looking for someone who would be part of the Accounting Settlement Team as a Accountant in Western Union.
**Role Responsibilities**
- According to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP), prepares standard and specialized reports including balance sheets and income statements.
- Analyzes moderately complex financial reports and records and makes recommendations relative to the accounting reserves, assets and expenditures.
- Reconciles and adjusts various general ledger accounts and bank statements for reporting purposes.
**Role Requirements**
- English required, written and verbal (B2 minimum).
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience between 2 - 4 years of experience in accounting clerical experience or equivalent in one or more of the following disciplines: Accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or billing.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Customer oriented.
