The Account Specialist role is a hybrid role focused on sales, account management, and service. You will be working in a team environment responsible for managing, retaining, and driving revenue growth within existing client relationships. You will be the client liaison partnering with various internal departments including: ClientCare, Billing, Product, Technical Support, and Implementation.
- Research and resolve inbound client inquiries.
- Enhance existing client relationships by focusing on service needs, research, and special projects.
- Provide product training to clients to ensure effective utilization of Experian services.
- Identify renewal and upsell opportunities.
- Monitor and understand client usage behaviors to identify and address emerging trends.
- Responsible for initiating and obtaining required documentation to implement product or service changes related to security, credentialing, data reporting, and legislative requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of previous customer facing and sales experience.
- High school Diploma required.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills, both verbal and written (English & Spanish).
- Must be a fast learner, curious, and possess the ability to learn new information about solutions and sales processes.
- Self-starter with drive to learn independently and in a structured environment.
- Comfortable operating within a teamed service and selling approach with energy and sense of ownership.
- Competitive nature and coachable.
- Good customer service and follow-up skills.
- Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical.
- Good knowledge of consumer credit reporting marketplace and willingness to learn more is highly desired.
