Amazon Business is revolutionizing the way organizations of all sizes access the vast selection of products available on Amazon.With features and benefits tailored specifically for business customers, Amazon Business combines the convenience and value Amazon is known for with solutions designed to meet the unique procurement needs of businesses.As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Quoting Representative to join our team.The Quoting Representative plays a pivotal role in building and managing customer relationships by providing expert knowledge on Amazon's products and services, crafting personalized quoting solutions, and addressing the complex procurement requirements of our clients.This role demands a deep understanding of the quoting process, including eProcurement integration, contracting nuances, and advanced payment and reconciliation methods, to ensure our solutions align with our customers' operational and financial objectives.Key job responsibilities•Leverage in-depth knowledge of Amazon Business's products and services to develop customized quoting solutions that address the specific needs of each customer, enhancing value and satisfaction.•Engage in solution-selling and digital prospecting tactics to build and manage a book of business, focusing on creating long-term strategic customer relationships.•Understand and navigate the unique contracting and competitive requirements of diverse institutions, recommending quoting strategies that facilitate seamless procurement integration.•Work closely with clients across functional areas such as Procurement, IT, Finance, and Facilities to ensure a deep understanding of their procurement processes and develop tailored quoting solutions.•Coordinate with Amazon resources to ensure that the quoting solutions meet the objectives of both the client and Amazon, fostering successful deployment and adoption of our services.•Maintain a robust lead pipeline, ensuring consistent lead quantity and quality to achieve territory goals, and actively map Amazon products and services to clients' primary objectives.•Effectively communicate complex solutions to clients through diverse channels including phone, email, and web platforms, and direct engagement at meetings, tailoring each presentation to address specific client needs and objectives•Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal operational contacts across departments, ensuring end-to-end communication and coordination across the extended Amazon team.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:San Jose, CRIBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Proven track record in consultative sales, with significant experience in developing complex quoting solutions for business clients.- Strong understanding of ecommerce business models, online marketing tactics, and competitive marketplaces, with the ability to apply this knowledge to the quoting process.- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and craft personalized quoting strategies that enhance customer procurement processes.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with experience working with mid to large size accounts.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with eProcurement systems, advanced payment solutions, and automated reconciliation processes.- Knowledge of the unique procurement requirements and challenges faced by public institutions and businesses across various industries.- Leadership experience, with a focus on coaching team members and contributing to lead generation and evaluation strategies.
