Job Description:Datasite is looking to add a few more QA and Sr QA Engineer's to our team in Heredia, Costa Rica.This role is a hybrid role. Expectation is occasional (currently 1x a week) in office with flex scheduling and split-time available to avoid traffic. Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, design, development and execution of test processes, test plans and test scripts. You will design and implement automated and occasionally, manual test suites for our products in an Agile environment. Establish and maintain bidirectional requirements traceability to test cases. Utilizes proficiency and strong hands-on experience in developing both manual and automated test scripts.Drive the current test automation frameworks and current QA processes and develop and execute manual/automated test scripts for new and existing productsActive participation in – Standups, Sprint Planning, Refinement meetings, Retrospections, and all the QA team related meetings.Automate the scenarios using the existing frameworks built in house and fixing the automation test issues when the application code is changedDefine QA standards, strategies, and processes, observing industry best practicesFollow and adhere to the best practices of software test engineering, Agile methodology, QA practices and processes in the organization.Own the deliverables such as Test Reports, Test Cases & quality of the code in the module/features you work, and the quality of the product testedBe an active participant in all the CI/CD activities and own the code promotion to higher environments when scheduledBe a part of Prod Support activities and answer to the Pager Duty while scheduledEnhancing the automation frameworks used for UI/API testingEffective communication with the Product owners and Dev leads to triage the issues created by you and your peers and prioritizing the fixesMentoring other team members in improving their automation skillsEducation / Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field2+ years of experience in Web Application automation testingProficient in at least 1 Object Oriented programming language (Java and/or Ruby preferred)Experienced in BDD tools like Cucumber preferredAs a global organization, Datasite knows that diverse perspectives are essential to our success.
