**Location/Division Specific Information**:
Discover Impactful Work: As a Website Protection Remediation Coordinator, you will be part of a distributed team focused on remediating security findings of Thermo Fisher web products and reporting on teams progress. This group will work across infrastructure, security and Product Teams to effectively prioritize efforts and reduce risk faced by our customers and partners.
**A day in the Life**:
- Produce relevant metrics, dashboards and scorecards to highlight how products, Product Teams and CIS Teams are doing and where further opportunity exists
- Using a risk-based approach to prioritize vulnerabilities, configuration deficiencies and other findings to improve security posture of Thermo Fisher products
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with Product, Infrastructure and Security Teams to understand level of effort, existing compensating controls and necessary investment (if any) to implement necessary security controls
- Partner with teams and implement solutions to findings, reducing the risk to the company and our customers
**Keys to Success**:
This team will be successful through effective partnership across organizations and a dedicated prioritization of findings. Tasks will be required of Product, Infrastructure and Security Teams in a variety of areas throughout the lifecycle of a product or service from the earliest design phase to post-deployment at a customer or internal site. A creative, problem-solving approach and can-do demeanor that is continuously learning will lead to the success of the individual and team.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or other relevant field. Equivalent work experience also accepted.
**Experience**:
- Development of metrics dashboards using PowerBI, SSRS or equivalent
- 2-5 years vulnerability and/or incident/problem management, specifically remediation of findings
- Project Management experience is a plus
- Creation of detailed documentation to support remediation activities, incident resolution efforts or technical design documents
- Technical experience in a regulated environment, i.e. Healthcare, Finance, Aerospace or equivalent
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- Understanding of cybersecurity regulatory requirements
- Excellent project management, interpersonal customer service and documentation skills
