The Senior Manager, GBS Process Owner - BPO Order to Cash will play a key leadership role, in defining and driving end-to-end efficient process design efforts across the Order to Cash (O2C) workstream. Owns and drives the Business Relationship framework - Key collaborators will include Division leaders, finance leads, Commercial Leadership and other Business Leaders whose processes are being served by the BPO.

**Key Responsibilities**:
This manager will be responsible for the following activities for O2C.
- Responsible for driving successful delivery of O2C outsourcing services and representing the BPO organization to Business Unit Leadership, Divisional Leadership and other partners.
- Drive accountability for the BPO provider to deliver on SLAs and critical metrics across workstreams.
- Drive standardization of process and delivery method across ~24 sites that the BPO provider is supporting.
- Supports the existing design and future improvements of Enabling Technology through business and technology partner engagement while standardizing technology and where feasible, processes across business platforms
- Supports the collection processes within the Global Business Services group that drives cash flow initiatives (including but not limited to integrating a credit policy and internal reporting capabilities of the O2C teams)
- Works in close collaboration with the O2C GPO organization to ensure process standardization and alignment where possible
- Communicates, coordinates and incorporates organizational readiness.
- Ensures that related process activities and changes are programmatically consistent with the objectives of the company, and accurately operationalized and coordinated to ensure a cohesive and consistent service experience
- Coordinate Process Design and communicates with process users
- Support the stabilization of processes in the BPO
- Is the focal point for requested deviations, and has the authority to approve changes in the process if the changes are required
- Identifies gaps and issues that prohibit efficient and effective use of the business process to support business requirements across all functions
- Review key performance indicators with management functions at least monthly. Identify and coordinate the root cause of service deficiencies and supervise activities completed for service remediation
- Leads the identification of improvements
- Remedies deficiencies or improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the business process for which they are responsible
- Highly Collaborative role
- Ensures that appropriate inputs and resources are brought to bear with a view of meeting organizational needs.

**Skills Required**:

- 10/12 years of dynamic work experience in finance, accounting with 3-5 years within a Shared Service structure process
- "Roll up your sleeves" and can-do demeanor, upbeat, forward-thinking leader with strong ability to multi-task & collaborate. Excellent business insight - making the right calls at the right time
- Focuses on the big picture, and is able to drill into the detail and understand the impact. Understands how the business works and the upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by Finance
- Able to partner with key technology collaborators and external vendors on large technology implementations. Experience with large and cross organization projects
- Ability to engage with, mentor, and quickly affect change across other teams/departments; ability to maintain collective motivation throughout the project
- Leadership, influential, interpersonal and "big picture" skills to facilitate change and work with senior management, division management, and business unit partners
- Intuition for business to develop effective partnerships with key collaborators and provide a strategic perspective in discussions and communications; including framing the needs of Finance and Groups in context of the larger Thermo Fisher organization

- ** Project Resources**: The Process Owner will work across the BPO shared service team, shared service site and process directors, internal technology teams and external consultants. Project team members include both Thermo Fisher resources and outside vendors
- ** External Stakeholders**: The Process Owner may work with external team members to communicate changes in existing processes

**Location & Working Conditions**:

- Travel will be required.
- Travel is estimated to be approximately 10%
