**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**
Support payroll process in a multi-state environment. Work closely with the payroll team to maintain and update a variety of payroll data to ensure that employees are paid correctly and appropriate deductions are applied with assistance from a Senior.
**General Job Responsibilities**
- Prepare and submit paper payroll checks for employees who do not have direct deposit
- Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits on paydays
- Familiarize yourself and keep current with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
- Maintain and document all payroll records
- Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records
- Perform time entries and basic Master Data entries.
- Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
- Follow and implement best practices and processes defined by the company, to work with high standards of quality.
- Participate to status meetings
- Attend internal training.
- Perform other functions related to the position.
**Qualifications**:
- English level B2+ or C1
- Graduated from a technical high school (Accounting or Executive for Service Centers) or university student in accounting, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge with ERP systems and banking portals desirable
- SAP HR-Payroll authorization concepts and role catalogues desirable
- Understanding of payroll processes and monitoring / detective controls
- Knowledge to analyze and to understand requirements from the customer
- Knowhow in IT and HR infrastructures topics
- Good Knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
