**Job Description**:
- Monitors system resources and communicates with the Operations Center to effectively maximize throughput
- Performs monitoring and troubleshooting of most File Transfers, regardless of platform or method or technology utilized.
- Consults with internal and external customers on File Transfer strategies, methods and testing to configure and troubleshoot file transfers.
- Manages the configuration of secure file transfer (SFTP, AWS S3, etc.) definitions in Axway Secure Transport to securely deliver files to intended destination.
- Setup connections and protocols with client for the client side as well as for the BU side for data transfer.
- Ensures production deadlines are met to satisfy customer requests.
- Performs any necessary balancing to ensure accuracy of processing via balancing software.
- Performs a variety of customer support administrative tasks.
- Provides business units with 24X7 production problem resolution support.
- Communicates with users to enforce adherence to processes and standards.
- Assists in the testing and implementation of operational production processes and procedures including file transfer.
- Support implementation of automation and process improvements for internal customers.
May participate and provide input to the system design phase of new projects
**Qualifications**:
- 5 - 7 years related computer and technical analysis experience required
- Excellent experience and knowledge of, distributed processing AIX, UNIX and Linux concepts
- Experience and knowledge working with Cloud, AWS environments,
- 5 - 7 years related computer and technical analysis experience required
- Good knowledge of OS/JCL, TSO/ISPF, IBM Mainframe Utilities
- Good working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of File Transfer concepts and tools (SFTP, SFPS, STS, FTP, Connect Direct, Secure Transport, PDM, etc.)
- Detail oriented and strong analytical, problem solving skills required.
- Project Mgmt.skills and deadline oriented.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and plan workloads.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to successfully interact with internal and external clients on various operational and File Transfer questions issues**.**:
- Knowledge of consumer credit policies, procedures and regulations highly preferred
- Knowledge of Experian products and systems preferred.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or M.I.S.; or equivalent experience preferred
