**Job Summary**
This position plays an integral part in developing and implementing sourcing strategies and projects for Indirect Sourcing Categories. Will be responsible for executing sourcing events, and projects related activities for Legal Services, HR Services, Marketing Services, IT Software/Hardware and Telecom.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute on one-time or low complexity sourcing requests as part of the Center of Excellence Buying Desk
- Gather and analyze data using procurement spend analytics tools
- Work with the Market Intelligence team to research and identify potential suppliers for sourcing requests
- Perform basic cost and scenario analysis to analyze supplier bids
- Research potential vendors, develop and execute RFI, RFQ, RFP and eAuctions.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation is translated to RFP and contracts as appropriate.
- Partner with Legal and Data Privacy department to negotiate agreements that meet Thermo Fisher requirements.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing delivering with suppliers and record annual savings.

**Functional & technical skills**
- Experience with sourcing process, vendor management, contract negotiations and procure to pay operations.
- Expertise in sourcing tools (e-sourcing, spend analytics, ERP, supplier management software).
- Negotiation skills - will need to solicit bids and negotiate purchases directly with suppliers.
- Experience across Indirect Sourcing categories.

**Experience & Qualification**
- Proven working experience as purchasing agent or officer.
- 2+ years of purchasing experience/negotiations.
- Degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management, or related field.
- English proficiency.
