Your Role and Responsibilities
The Azure Identity Specialist is part of the larger IAM team and works directly on Azure managing and configuring MFA, SSO and the configuration between multiple IdP's and Azure. The Azure Identity Specialist also leads discussions and supports internal systems, implements new and existing technical solutions, prepare proposed solution documentation and drives leadership presentations.
- Manage and implement reliable, scalable, high-performing Identity and Access Management (IAM) services in Microsoft Azure.
- Drive the technical tactical tasks related to the implementation and administration of Azure MFA, ensuring security architecture is compliant with the least privileged model.
- Work with project teams and business users to create and guide detailed design plans and documentation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 3 years of experience working with Azure AD and Azure MFA supporting large-scale, enterprise level solutions.
- Proven experience effectively communicating technical issues\\challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding on Identity Provider Federation,Multifactor Authentication, and SSO and experience working with authentication services, user lifecycle, and policy management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with leadership and experience working with Senior Business Leaders.
- Professional experience in leading projects and working with Internal Clients, Vendors and Partners.
- Azure Fundamentals Certified (AZ-900).
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- +4 years of experience working with Azure Identity (AAD, MFA, SSO) and supporting large scale, enterprise solutions.
- Solid understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
- Broad experience in other cloud platforms is helpful but not a pre-requisite
- Microsoft Azure certified (AZ-104, AZ-500, or similar).
