Global Data Migration Analyst

**Job Description** You will be able to use key data movement tools/accelerators (Beyond Compare) + experience with having required privileged access to all sites and file shares (local or global) to facilitate the management of data transfers. The role is high demand and will require capabilities to manage high priority, high complexity and high demand customer stories such as Mergers and Separations.

**Technical Requirements**
• Standard level knowledge of Windows Operating system, MS native tools (MMC) and NetApp appliances for storage a must.
• Background in file shares and/or server management preferred to enable safe and structure data migrations.
• Capable of managing technical tasks such as permissions management, executing VB script, and remediation of unexpected technical blockers.
• Fast learner. ***Will need to quickly learn: Service process/procedures, External encrypted drive processes, use beyond compare for data copies and reporting, Varonis for access reports, DRA for standard share creation, Jira for team collaboration/task tracking, use of VB and PowerShell scripting, and pandora for change management.***
• Advanced English proficiency, both oral and written
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering of equivalent experience. Technical diploma will also be accepted.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Windows servers, knowledge in Network and Net App.

• The role will require flexible working to accommodate the high demand for early and late working hours to manage the global needs of customers and weekends occasionally to manage change control outages.
• Strong skill and capability to work as an individual contributor within a team supported environment.

**Nice to Haves (not mandatory)**
1. Some experience with Agile principles.
2. MSCA or MSCE would be an advantage.
