4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- 5+ years of Managing Cash Application Processes
- 5+ years of experience Leading Teams of 10+ members
- focus, problem-solving and communication skills is key; will be interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels on a daily basis. This thought leader will also generate, and leverage insights based on Amazon's unique data and metrics to lead strategic discussions with Financial Operations business teams to support FinOps leaders on making informed decisions.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with AR leaders in setting business objectives and priorities to accomplish key metrics.
- Explore upstream/downstream improvement opportunities and document operating procedures for complex vendors/customers and situations.
- Recognize escalation trends and identify underlying defects and root causes to monitor, improve and deliver on key success and performance metrics.
- Ensure existing policies, procedures, and controllership guidelines are followed.
- Systemically intake, escalate, and triage cash payments and issues and follow-through to resolution.
- Partner and influence business partners and other teams to resolve defects.

**Key Focus**:

- People and Talent Development - promote career paths, knowledge sharing to improve knowledge and a continuous improvement culture.
- Unapplied Cash - identify and remove process gaps to ensure customer payments get applied based on customers advise.
- Escalation Focus - work with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely escalation.
- Stakeholders Partnership - build strong relations among business partners, commercial teams and other Amazon teams to remove barriers and positively impact Amazon's cash flow.
- EDP and Reconciliations Management - support and provide guidance to ensure both processes are timely and accurately performed.
