You will be part of the Close, Consolidations, and Reporting team and also a dotted line member of the Blackline team within the General Accounting team.
**The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to**:
BlackLine System Admin - Tasks module:
- Administration of the BlackLine Task process including support of ongoing projects, new customers onboarding, helping adherence to policy.
- System analyst support for BlackLine Tasks module operation.
- Participate in the ongoing system, process simplifications, and improvement projects, provide support in the onboarding of new teams under the BlackLine Task Champions Model.
- Help in the creation and support of Dashboards to analyze close status data by partnering with Data Analytics and Reporting team.
- Provide support around questions related to the Task process, including task onboarding, task modifications and task certifications.
BlackLine System Admin - Journal module JET:
- Responsible for the systems and tools used for posting, automation, coordinating with business partners to address system-related gaps, enhancement, and improvement efforts.
- System analyst support for JET BlackLine module operation.
- Participate in the ongoing system, process simplifications, and improvement projects around BlackLine, using tools like KNIME, Python, PBI Dashboards, and other automation tools.
- Maintain team web page: modify or create new HTML views to communicate to BlackLine customers the process or important changes in the system or team.
- Address system-related gaps such as questions about journal entry errors, BlackLine access, and general BlackLine failures questions.
Project Manager:
- Drive efforts for process automation, coordinating with Finance and IT Business Partners in the execution of the team projects.
- Plan for and execute the effective configuration, development, and implementation of long-term or complex financial systems with include system governance.
- Managing projects and processes: Identifies and executes improvements to systems and processes; uses process improvement tools to redesign and simplify complex processes.
- Robust financial analysis, problem-solving.

**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications**:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of related working experience.
- Basic knowledge of SAP, SQL scripting, Python, Power BI, or Power Platform
- Advanced English level.
- Must have a permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Master's degree or degree certification
- A secondary degree in Systems Information, Data Science, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Experience in Web Development using MVC and technologies like HTML, CSS, JS, and Bootstrap
