Bilingual Accountant

Descripción de la Plaza/nAccountant - Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Management of receivable and payable accounts.
• Employee management: Payroll calculations, termination rights, employee´s files, INS & CCSS monthly reports
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, expenses reports from employees.
• Reconciliation and registry of Importing documentation and tax filing.
• Upkeep of fixed asset registers with identification/location detail.
• prepare journal entries
• complete general ledger operations
• monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
• reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• draw up monthly financial reports.
• VAT monthly calculation & submission.
• Year-end closings: Income Tax Returns, D151

Education and Skills:
• English Speaking
• Experience- 2-3 Years
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, C.P.I at least.
• knowledge of accounting principles and practices applied in Costa Rica.
• knowledge of Law #9635 Reform: V.A.T. & Income tax modifications.
• Electronic document requirements and management.
• technical accounting skills
