We are looking for a strong BI Engineer for a fully-remote, 4 month project (could extend) to work with our client in developing innovative tools and processes to elevate data-driven decisions within the entertainment industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop and maintain business intelligence systems supporting all phases of the content development and production lifecycle
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
- Analyze data and deliver insights that drive informed business decisions
Qualifications:
- 3yrs + of experience in a BI or Data Engineer role
- Strong proficiency in developing data visualizations in one or more industry leading tools (QlikSense, Quicksight, Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- 2yrs + experience in data modeling and pipeline design
- 2yrs + experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, R, Shell) in order to update or troubleshoot existing scripts for basic BI use cases (e.g. data transformations, statistical tests and analyses, process automation)
- Advanced knowledge in a variety of industry analytics and metrics visualization tools (for example but not limited to Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy/PowerBI)
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Experience developing dashboards and administering user access in QlikSense or Quicksight
- Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
- Experience working in very large data warehouse environments
