Job Description
Log(n) is seeking a Fullstack (backend) engineer to join one of our staff augmentation teams for one a highly valuable and long running client. This team is in charge of the main product, which processes huge amounts of data every day and integrateswith other products to provide a best-in-class experience for hoteliers all around the world. This team is in charge of building the tools and services that help condensate, analyse and present all the data into actionable items that hoteliers can act upon to sky rocket their Online Reputation and sustain it over the years, as well as getting feedback from guests in a timely and valuable manner.
This is a highly available and data-loss resilient product. In this role, you will work with high-performing colleagues and leverage cutting-edge technologies to make an immediate impact on the products and customers.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a fast-paced small or medium-sized company
- Deep knowledge of Java and its ecosystem
- PHP/Symfony proficiency is a plus
- Strong desire for high-quality code and craftsmanship
- Familiarity with reactive microservice design patterns, continuous integration workflows, and continuous delivery concepts
- Experience with automated testing (e.g., RSpec, JUnit, Mockito)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Knowledge of web services ecosystem including: REST, SOAP, JSON XML, and HTTP(S)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDb, Elastic Search)
- Awareness of Amazon Web Services (AWS) capabilities
